Kate Crecraft, DVM, DACVECC
Kate graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Cultural Analysis. She went on to complete her veterinary degree at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. After a rotating small animal internship at VERG, she practiced here as an emergency doctor until deciding to pursue further training. Kate completed her emergency and critical care residency at the Animal Medical Center, pursuing research in trauma, refeeding syndrome, and toxicities. She is excited to be back at VERG. Kate’s clinical interests include electrolyte derangements, endocrine emergencies, and feline medicine. Outside of work, Kate enjoys hiking, traveling, and exploring New York. She shares her home with her human, a good brown dog, and a handful of cats.
