Savanna Blair

Dr. Savanna Blair earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2025. She then completed a small animal rotating internship with the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center in Manhattan before joining VERG for the surgery specialty internship. Prior to veterinary school, Savanna worked as an engineer for Illumina in San Diego for several years after earning a Bachelor in Arts in Biophysics and a Bachelor in Science and Arts in Electrical Engineering in 2016 at the University of San Diego.
Savanna’s professional interests include small animal soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, emergency medicine, and exotic animal medicine. Outside of the hospital Savanna enjoys partner acrobatics, cycling, rock climbing, ceramics, and traveling. At home she has two cats (Guapo and Nindiri), a pet tarantula (Rondy), and a beta fish (Mustafa).
