Katherine Perez is a Talent Acquisition Specialist at VERG Brooklyn with more than 10 years of experience in veterinary medicine. Born and raised in New York, she began her career at the front desk before moving into veterinary technology and eventually hospital leadership and practice management. Her experience across different areas of the hospital gives her a unique understanding of the people behind veterinary medicine and what makes a great team.

Now in Talent Acquisition, Katherine loves connecting with people, learning about their goals, and helping them find opportunities where they can grow and feel supported.

Her passion for animals extends beyond her career. Katherine has traveled throughout Latin America, connecting with local rescue groups and bringing preventative care, including flea and tick medication, to help stray animals in need.

Outside of VERG, Katherine enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, her son, and her dog, Pluto.
