Kate graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Cultural Analysis before earning her veterinary degree from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. She went on to complete a rotating small animal internship at VERG and then practiced as an emergency doctor before pursuing additional training. Kate completed her emergency and critical care residency at the Animal Medical Center, where her research focused on trauma, refeeding syndrome, and toxicities. She is excited to return to VERG.

Her clinical interests include electrolyte imbalances, endocrine emergencies, and feline medicine.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Kate enjoys hiking, traveling, and exploring New York. She shares her home with her partner, a loyal brown dog, and several cats.
