Jillian DiFazio
DVM DACVECC, Chief of Staff
Jillian graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology before earning her veterinary degree from Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed a small animal rotating internship at Cornell University, where she went on to complete her residency in Emergency and Critical Care. Following her residency, she spent a year and a half at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists. In 2016, Jillian joined VERG and established the Critical Care Service, an accomplishment she takes great pride in.
Her clinical interests include sepsis, neurotrauma, endocrine disorders, fluid therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
Outside of work, Jillian enjoys fitness classes such as running, cycling, weightlifting, and boot camps. She also has a love of music and travel. On her days off, she can often be found with her dogs, Ellie, a Chihuahua, and Muppet, a Shih Tzu mix she affectionately describes as “perfection.”
