Preparing for your visit
- 
Please have your pet’s medical records sent to our facility before their appointment time
 - 
Administer your pet’s medications like normal on the morning of their appointment. This includes any anti-anxiety medications (gabapentin or trazodone) to make their visit as comfortable as possible
 - 
No fasting necessary. Provide your pet with breakfast like normal
 
What to expect during your visit
- A member of the cardiology team will collect your pet’s medical history
 - We will provide individualized diagnostic recommendations for your pet
 - Once you approve your pet’s diagnostic plan, we will perform their work-up over a 60-minute period
 - After all diagnostic tests are completed, we will review your pet’s findings and discuss treatment options with you
 - Before you leave, we will establish a monitoring plan and schedule your pet’s next appointment, if necessary
 
After your visit
- We look forward to working with you to ensure the best quality of life for your pet
 - All medical documents and reports will be sent to your primary veterinarian
 - Please contact us by phone or email with any questions or concerns regarding your pet’s heart condition or response to medications
 
Meet Dr. Graham Rossi & the Cardiology Team
Dr. Rossi is a board-certified veterinary cardiologist who completed his veterinary schooling at NC State University and specialty training at the University of Wisconsin. He and his caring team of skilled cardiology nurses and assistants are dedicated to providing individualized and compassionate care to your pet.
