Surgery

Dr. Camille Duvieusart’s path to veterinary surgery began at the University of Edinburgh, where she earned her bachelor’s in veterinary medicine and surgery. Following veterinary school, Dr. Duvieusart relocated to New York to complete a one-year rotating internship at the ASPCA and began her career as an emergency doctor, where her passion for surgery grew. She then pursued a one-year surgical internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, D.C., followed by a three-year surgical residency at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Duvieusart’s clinical practice includes orthopedic, soft tissue, oncologic, and neurologic (spinal) surgery, with a strong interest in minimally invasive and thoracic surgery. She has completed her Veterinary Assessment in Laparoscopic Skills (VALS) at fellow level and is passionate about bringing advanced surgical techniques to her patients.

Originally from Belgium, Dr. Duvieusart grew up abroad in the Czech Republic and Russia before pursuing her career in veterinary medicine. Outside of the clinic, she is an avid hiker and enjoys the outdoors. At home, she is kept company by her 10-year-old mixed Yorkie, Nala, who’s as spunky as they come.
